Fuel tank help please!
I'm missing the fuel tap at the rear, it looks to be the same thread as the cross feed at the front of the tank. Any idea where I can buy one?
It has a banjo bolt with a pipe on it at the moment
Cheers

Hello Hoover,if you go onto the Veteran Motorcycle Club shop website you should be able to find a fuel tap to suit your bike. The threads on your tank would have been BSP(British standard pipe). There are lots of companies that advertise in Classic Bike Guide and suchlike magazines and they offer parts such as taps.Another website that might help is Icenicam, which is a group that deal with mopeds but they do have adverts that cover a few general bike parts. Some British bike clubs(AJS,BSA,Triumph etc)have spares services which might have what you want.Lots of standard parts such as taps, switches and control levers were used by most of the British bike manufacturers and are now reproduced.Cheers,Paul

Thanks for the info, I ended up using an old 1/4bsp tap i had using an adapter from a coffee machine lol. Really need new swing arm bushs now as there is alot of movement from side to side which makes for interesting handling..
