Info needed on my Norman B2 Sport 1958
Hi all this is my first post.
I am currently restoring my fathers 1958 Norman B2 Sport.
It has a Villiers 9e 250cc single engine.
I'd like to send some pictures to someone to give me any info at all, what's not original etc...
Thanks for any advice in advance.
Kev

Hello Kev.That looks like a lovely bike.Does it need to be restored?it looks good enough to just need a good service and safety check then ride it.If the tyres are old I would advise replacing them.Keep us posted,Paul

Re: Info needed on my Norman B2 Sport 1958
Hi there,
Thank you for replying to my post.
It does look like a nice bike, my father got it to it's current state from a couple of boxes of rusty bits.
But it doesn't run and a lot of the alloy (wheel hubs etc.) have been painted. And the red paint is hand painted so doesn't look too good close up.
I am currently stripping it, getting the motor running first then chrome and paintwork with stainless bolts all round rather than the painted mixture of mild steel ones currently holding it all together.
Yes the tyres are old and incorrect so I will be replacing those.
Do you have any advice on the tyres I should use for this bike?
Thanks again
Kev
