Dam busters Empty Dam busters

Hello Normaneers.Did anyone see the programme on TV last night(Sunday)about Guy Gibson VC and the Dam Busters.I read somewhere that Normans gave Gibson a machine during the war probably as a result of one of the Norman brothers being a fighter pilot himself during the first war.In the programme there was a short film of Gibson riding a machine along the runway at Scampton and I am sure that the machine was a Norman autocycle,I wonder what happened to that bike, still it is interesting to know that even war heroes appreciated our favourite bikes.Cheers ,Paul
