Brake pedal and foot rest B2S
PJF 663 -Starting work on bike after OOU for about 40 years. At some stage the brake pedal has had a knock and is bent out of true, first is a spare possible to source, second as a casting is it possible to straighten, without causing a fracture, and what risks .
Also footrest parts, one serrated washer missing and footrest bar, although for latter can temporary use threaded bar. Iain

If the piece is cast there is a high risk it will fracture if you try to manipulate it back to its original shape, sometimes it can be possible to bend it back with the application of heat. you may find a spare but as far as I'm aware these aren't available new at the moment. is originality important? it might be possible to manufacture a functioning replacement but this may not be to the exact original design.

I have the foot rests it is just that one of the "D" shaped serrated washers that stops any rotation is missing, this is a small casting, although if necessary I can fabricate a replacement. Nearside but both sides same I believe . - Iain

The local garage have used the gas torch and have successfully straightened the foot brake pedal , and I have made a temporary replacement serrated washer until one comes to light or I can get one cast. Iain.
