Photos for ID
Hi
I used to have a motorbike which I bought in 1963. It got cleared out a few years later when I left home.
I've tried to identify it from on-line photos but can't so I've included a link to a couple of photos. My recollection was that it was a Norman from 1951 and there was something new/special about the front suspension. It had a Villiers 197cc two stroke which for some reason it was felt necessary to have a decompression lever. The spark plug had 3 prongs and was prone to clogging up. I think it took a 16:1 mixture but ran better/more smoothly on 14:1. 1 up 2 down gearbox and with a following wind would get to something like 60mph.
Can someone confirm make, model & year and put my mind at rest?
(I'm not allowed to post a link so you'll have to do copy/paste manually)

Re: Photos for ID
With the lack of response am I to take it that no-one recognises the bike and it may not in fact be a Norman?
