Old forum locked

Hi,
The old forum has now been locked so you cant register new users or do anything else in there but you can still read it.
I have a back up of it as it stands today so we can use it in the future if we want to.

Hello Peter,Can I still post to the old forum? as I find it easier to use than the new one and there are still post that I enjoy reading and responding to.Thanking you for your work on our behalf.Paul

You can still read it and I have also sent an e-mail to Robin as suggested by Ron but no reply so far.
I understand that it is possible to transfer the old form topics to this forum but my knowledge about these details are not good enough to do it, lets see what Robin thinks about it.

Im a bit disappointed as there has been no response from the club or any one else except for MrRabbit so far.
In my opinion there have to be more enthusiasm to get a forum like this running, i have been contributing as an admin on the old forum for several years now with 15 to 60 minutes every day spent on keeping it clean from spam users and I would love to help the club with maintaining this forum aswell.
But where is the enthusiasm?

Maybe so but I cant see why nobody replies to this topic, I would be prepared to do some work as a moderator or whatever but there seams to be no interest what so ever.
I could start up the old forum again but I cant see why I should as the people in charge of this club seams to be so uninterested in a good webpage and forum

Hello Peter,I would be sad to lose the forum altogether.I look in nearly every day,I am sure that other people do as well but perhaps do not send posts.One of the main ways that the website helps is when somebody is restoring a Norman and need help or information,perhaps nobody is restoring a bike at the moment.Both my Normans are behaving themselves and unless the weather gets a bit better they will be staying in the shed for a while.don't lose heart.Paul
