Nippy at the Mill
I did it,I had a bit of a rush to get the Nippy back together and running after it's repaint so that I could take it to The Club's Mill Day.I am glad I did,I got some nice comments about it,with it's new coat of gold paint. The colour is as near as I could get to the shade I found under 50 year's worth of muck and grime.Every time I go to Club meetings I am impressed with the dedication and enthusiam of our members, this time was no different with lots of machines at the event that we had not seen before. It is also pleasing to meet people who don't have a Norman but still want to know about our "little treasures",outside in the Mill field we had an interesting collection of big BSA's,Triumph's and the like.We even had a Bugatti belonging to one of our members,it was not one from Molsheim but a beautifully made replica, even having the square headed bolts lock wired together that the master, Ettoire Bugatti, insisted on using on his cars, and it sure sounded lovely when driven away from the field.A good day and once again thankyou to the organisers.Paul
