Norman Ladies bicycle
Hello all from Perth in Western Australia. I have been asked to fix up this bicycle which the owner brought with them from the UK in the 70's. The rear hub is stamped 68 10 but the rest of the components suggest an earlier manufacture date. Frame number stamped on the left side rear dropout looks like A20683, under the bottom bracket is R119 D.F.
Some parts are missing - chain guard, front brake and mudguards (disintegrating plastic Bluemels were fitted), the brake levers don't match and unfortunately the front fork is bent.
Anything to confirm the model and year of manufacture would be greatly appreciated, as would suggestions of sources for the missing bits either in the UK or Australia.
I'll post some pics when I've spent the obligatory week twiddling my thumbs to keep the bots at bay.
cheers
