The Norman Cycles Club is based at the Willesborough Windmill in Ashford Kent, home town to the Norman factory. The motorcycles are rare and we are the only club dedicated to keeping them on the road.

Hi all, I'm on my second Norman restoration at the moment and a few months back took a trip to Ashford to see the collection. I live in Kent but nowhere near Ashford so it was a day out(!)

Seeing as the (albeit very nice!) ladies serving in the restaurant didn't know, who actually "owns" the collection? Some are labelled as "kindly donated by" etc, but it seemed like the majority were just heaped together.

I'm not currently a club member, but hope to take one of mine to the next show so will join then, but I'd be curious to know the arrangement as once my second one's complete, hopefully at the end of 2010, I'll be looking for a new project, and it seems like most of the cycles there could do with a serious bit of tlc! Sad
