Villiers 2T engined bike, might be a Norman...

Post  BrightButIdle on Fri Sep 14, 2012 2:23 pm

Hello,

I'm looking for a little help in confirming whether a bike I've recovered from my parents place is a Norman or not.

It's got a 2T engine (number starts 808b which doesn't come up as shipped to Norman on the web, but my old man and his cronies were not averse to swapping engines about and I've seen my fair share of 2T bottom ends) and the frame number is 61C34. It does have leading link forks.

Has anyone got any details that might support this being a Norman from that frame number?

Thanks in advance for any info anyone might have.

Ian

Hi Ron,

I'll also PM you, but I thought I'd let you know that we are selling the bike mentioned above through a Bonhams sale in Harrogate on Nov 13th.

With a little luck there's either a picture or a link below:

Thanks

Ian
